Welcome guys, but for real this time… I previously began a blog that sat with old posts for a couple years. Why? I went back to college with different career aspirations. Within that impulse, I completed my BA program in English, Professional and New Media Writing, and creative writing. Since I just can’t get enough academics, I made a dash attempt for Emerson College’s graduate program in Journalism and Media Innovation. Yes, I couldn’t wait to graduate/contend with my w-ittle B.A., but like other difficult-to-be-visible and elbow-rubbing industries, the luck first, and talent after concept keeps my plans flexible and oiled. I think, we all want our dream careers to launch in a less serendipitous way, and with that, I'll be paving forward in much less of a conundrum than last my sentences.
But before you start soaking your feet, I'd like to address the current pandemonium of podcasts, social media influencers, and vlog giants birthing into the media sphere like rabbit pairs; they are in inadvertent battles with professional journalism and the winner gets all the attention / “currency”, right? Wrong. Well, morally wrong. The repercussions of the freedom of the press could bleed much less anarchy into the streets when there is clear reputable lines between these journalistic entities. They all can be of value. Yet, there are no winners when information (fuel) influences those to saddle up for domestic terrorism — just to throw up their tin hats in flawless victory. Although my posts will be (in essence of personal blogs) opinion-based and spiked with personality, I do not contribute to disinformation, nor do I intend to promote hazardous misinformation. I do intend to get a blog to you on a regular basis (TBD) to share my craft with words, my words with friends, and telling the heck out of my stories.
Channel your old, dangerous dreams of astronaut walks, and share that energy on my intentionally provoking blog posts, I really encourage your commentary!
