Welcome guys, but for real this time… I previously began a blog that sat with old posts for a couple years. Why? I went back to college with different career aspirations. With that impulse, I completed a BA program in English, journalism and creative writing. I have now leaped into more college with Emerson College’s graduate program for Journalism and Media Innovation, and of course my elective courses will be based in creative writing and screenwriting for film! Although, I couldn’t wait to graduate/contend with my w-ittle BA, these difficult-to-be-visible, elbow-rubbing industries seem to group in with the luck f*** first, and talent after concept. I think we all want our dream careers to be a little less serendipitous, so until then I'll be paving dirt paths in much less of a conundrum than my last sentence.
Before you start soaking your feet, I'd like to address somethings. In the current pandemonium of podcasts, social media influencers, and vlog giants birthing into the media sphere like rabbit pairs, they are in inadvertent battles with the humble established journalist. The winner gets all the attention / “currency”? Wrong. Well, morally wrong. The repercussions of the freedom of the press could bleed much less anarchy into the streets when there is clear reputable lines between these journalistic entities. They all can be of value. Yet, there are no winners when information (fuel) influences those to saddle up for domestic terrorism, and to then throw up their tin hats in flawless victory. Although my posts will be (in essence of a blog) opinion-based and spiked with personality, I do not intend to contribute to disinformation, and hazardous misinformation. I do intend to get this show on the net, and share my craft with words, share my words with friends, and telling the f*** out of my stories.
I am also working on getting that pony you asked for, but in the form of inspiration for your own healthy self-indulgence. Please reminisce your old, dangerous dreams of astronaut walks, and take it out on my intentionally provoking blog posts, I encourage your commentary!
